MINIATURE NATIVITY SET WITH WORKING BRASS BELL: A small real brass bell with a clapper hangs from the arched frame on a fine chain, making a soft high pitched chime when moved. A 3D hand carved olive wood palm tree on one side, the arch with bell on the other, and the Holy Family carved at the base. Approximately 3.9 inches tall. GENUINE BETHLEHEM OLIVE WOOD HAND CARVED: Made by Christian artisan families in Bethlehem from olive wood reclaimed from annual pruning of living trees. Weighs about 88 grams including the brass bell hardware. The brass naturally develops a darker patina over years of indoor display, most collectors prefer this aged warmer tone. BELL ADDS A TACTILE INTERACTIVE DETAIL: Most small nativity pieces are visual only, this one chimes softly when picked up or gently shaken. A theological detail in Eastern Christian tradition where a bell announces the moment of the Incarnation in liturgy. Subtle, not loud, suitable for indoor home or office display. FREESTANDING ON OVAL OLIVE WOOD BASE: The whole composition sits flat on its oval olive wood base on any shelf, desk, bedside table, or windowsill. No assembly required, no separate stand. Approximately 3.9 inches by 3.1 inches by 1.4 inches. Solid carving, the bell hangs securely from a small loop on the arched frame. MEANINGFUL TRAVEL SIZE RELIGIOUS GIFT: Pocket size makes this an ideal piece for someone who is away from home during the holidays, on pilgrimage, or in long term care where the soft chime is a quiet comfort. Also a thoughtful adult catechumen gift, parish secret-Santa, or godparent keepsake. Indoor use only, year round display.
