Review: I may let my girls use this for everyday because it looks too cheap to wear out and about in public. The texture is shiny and extremely cheap looking. My little girls hate the lack of quality. They said they look muted, and the plaid pattern is a print on the fabric. I bought a red plaid earlier last year that was nice and was even the same brand, but this brand is apparently not all that predictable in its quality. Some of their items I really liked, but this was not one of them. This does have darts, so you have to bring up the dart to the shoulder seams if you want to young girls that are not yet completely formed in the bust. The ribbed area by the neck is made of velvet which only makes the fabric of the dress look even cheaper.
